New Catalog multi-language API
Create translations and integrate localized content for catalog entities.
The multi-language API allows you to create and manage translations for products, SKUs, categories, brands, specifications, collections, attachments, and services.

What has changed?
Merchants and B2B business models can now benefit from:
- Granular content management: Create, retrieve, and store translations for catalog entities.
- Integrated translation workflows: Have automated translations with a Translation Management System (TMS).
- Localized experience: Provide customers with localized shopping experiences across multiple channels.
The multi-language API is in general availability for headless storefronts, in open beta for Store Framework, and closed beta for FastStore.
Why did we make this change?
VTEX stores now offer a flexible, scalable way to manage catalog content across multiple markets, helping drive business expansion. Additionally, localized meta descriptions, keywords, and URL slugs improve SEO.
What needs to be done?
To activate the multi-language API for your account, contact VTEX Support.
Once the feature is activated, GraphQL-based translation management will no longer be supported.
